DESCRIPTION
A set that has to move between sites, not just run
Mobile power fails for reasons that never appear on a datasheet: an axle that cannot take the road, an enclosure that lets rain into the panel, or a machine too heavy to reposition once the site changes. Buyers in construction, events and remote camps need a set that can be towed in, run three-phase loads on arrival, and be towed out again without dismantling anything.
The trailer type sets in this range are built on a road-towable chassis with the generator, fuel tank and control panel mounted on it, so what leaves the workshop is what arrives on site.
- Build formCanopy set mounted on a towable chassis
- Usual output window20 kW to 200 kW in this series
- OutputThree-phase 400/230 V, 50 Hz; 60 Hz to order
- ChassisTowing eye, axle and support foot ordered to suit the installation
- OperationManual start or automatic start with ATS interface

Points that decide whether a trailer set works on your site
- Weight is treated as a transport problem, not only a product figure. The axle arrangement is chosen against the finished unit weight so the set can be moved by the vehicle you actually have.
- The fuel tank travels with the machine. Fuel is carried inside the chassis base, so there is no separate day-tank to transport or connect on arrival.
- Three-phase loads are served from the panel on board. The set arrives with its control and distribution panel mounted, so a pump or a site hoist can be connected without extra panel work.
- Quiet operation is a specification item, not an afterthought. For events and urban boundaries the canopy is chosen for the acceptable level rather than the lowest price.
- Automatic start is available for unattended positions. Where the trailer stays at one location through the season, an ATS interface lets the set start without an operator.
- Export packing protects a wheeled machine. Trailer units are cased and wrapped for sea freight so the chassis and canopy arrive without transit damage.
The works behind these sets
Jiangsu Qingzhiteng Power Equipment Co., Ltd manufactures diesel and gas generator sets in Yangzhou, Jiangsu. The inland diesel range runs from 3 kVA to 3000 kVA and the marine range from 12 kW to 500 kW; low-noise units, sets with ATS, parallel systems, container units and remote monitoring configurations are produced in the same plant. Units ship to more than 80 countries on five continents.
Build, test and dispatch of a trailer set
- Engine, alternator and chassis are received and checked against the order configuration.
- The set is assembled on its base and coupled, with alignment set for the selected combination.
- The chassis is fitted with the axle arrangement, towing eye and support foot, and the fuel tank is connected and leak-checked.
- The panel is wired and continuity-checked, including the ATS interface where ordered.
- The completed set is run on the test bench and its settings are verified.
- The canopy is closed up and the unit is prepared for towing or for shipment.
- The set is cased with waterproof cloth and the packing list is issued with the shipping documents.
Duties supplied
Highway project, Africa
A contractor moving between sections needed three-phase power for pumps and workshop equipment at successive camps. Trailer sets were supplied so the same units could be relocated as the works advanced.
Outdoor event site, Southeast Asia
The installation sat close to a residential boundary, so the requirement was a canopy level acceptable at that distance rather than the smallest available machine. The canopy was specified against the stated level and distance.
Temporary camp, Middle East
Power was needed for a crew camp where no permanent plant room existed. A towable set with its own fuel tank avoided building a separate fuel installation.
Questions buyers raise on trailer sets
Can the trailer be towed on public roads?
The chassis is built for towing, and the lights, handbrake and axle arrangement can be specified for road use. Tell us the towing vehicle and the road regulations of the destination country so the chassis is ordered accordingly.
How heavy will the finished unit be?
It depends on the output, the canopy and the chassis arrangement, and it is confirmed for the selected model on the quotation. Give us the towing vehicle's capacity and we will check the combination against it.
How quiet can a trailer set be made?
Canopy units in this series are commonly specified in the 65 to 75 dB(A) range at 7 m. If you tell us the acceptable level and the distance to the nearest sensitive point, we can confirm which canopy matches it.
Is single-phase output available as well as three-phase?
The standard build is three-phase 400/230 V, four-wire at 50 Hz, which provides single-phase circuits from the same set. If your site is predominantly single-phase, say so and the panel configuration will be set accordingly.
What about minimum order, lead time and payment terms?
These follow the rating, quantity, destination and payment method, so they are given in the quotation. Provide the quantity and the port and we will quote on that basis.
If the set will stay in one place, compare the silent type sets and the container type sets; the full product range lists the other build forms.
Describe the site and how the set will move
Tell us the load and the largest motor, whether the set will be towed on public roads, the towing vehicle available, the acceptable noise level, the quantity and the destination port. That is enough to fix the chassis arrangement and quote.
