Operating companies that run more than one set usually inherit a mixture: a small unit at a gatehouse, a mid-size machine in a workshop, a large one for the main load. What consolidating on this platform gives a buyer
- One engine standard for the whole site. Filters, belts and typical wear parts follow one family rather than several, which simplifies stock holding.
- Wide rating coverage from the same supplier. A 10 kW machine for a guard house and a 500 kW machine for a factory can be quoted, built and supported as part of one fleet.
- Radiators chosen for the destination climate. Sets going to hot inland sites are not ordered with a temperate-climate cooling package by default.
- Panel behaviour that does not vary by size. Start, stop, alarm and ATS logic stay recognisable as the rating rises, which shortens operator training.
- Enclosure or open frame for the same machine. If a site plan changes, the set can be supplied in the build form the installation point requires.
- Fleet-level parallel options. Where load grows, machines can be brought under synchronising control instead of being replaced.

Jiangsu Qingzhiteng Power Equipment Co., Ltd produces diesel and gas generator sets in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, with an inland diesel range of 3 kVA to 3000 kVA and a marine range of 12 kW to 500 kW. Sets with ATS, low-noise canopies, container units, parallel operation and remote monitoring are all assembled in the same plant, and the company exports to more than 80 countries on five continents.
Assembly and test sequence
- The engine and alternator specified in the order are received and checked in.
- The two units are coupled and aligned on the base frame.
- Cooling, fuel and exhaust circuits are assembled and leak-tested.
- The panel is wired and the harness is continuity-checked against the drawing.
- The set runs on the test bench and its voltage, frequency and protection settings are verified.
- The enclosure, lifting points and paint are completed.
- The unit is cased with waterproof cloth and dispatched with the packing list.

Factory and workshop standby, Southeast Asia
A plant with mixed three-phase loads needed standby power sized on motor starting current rather than on the running total. The frame and alternator were set from the equipment list the buyer supplied.

The requirement was automatic standby for lifts and lighting in hot ambient conditions, so the cooling package and panel were specified against the local temperature.

Questions buyers ask about this range
Which Cummins-powered ratings can you build?
Small three-phase sets from about 10 kW, mid-size machines around 40 kW to 200 kW, and larger units in the 500 kW class and above. Tell us the rating or the load and we will confirm the engine model, alternator frame and panel for that combination.
Do you supply 60 Hz versions?
Yes, 60 Hz at 1800 rpm is built on request alongside the 50 Hz at 1500 rpm range. State the destination country and the required voltage and frequency when you enquire.
Can the set work with an ATS and remote monitoring?
Both are available and are usually specified together for unattended sites. Describe the changeover arrangement and what you need to see remotely, and the panel will be configured accordingly.
How do I compare two offers for the same rating?
Put the engine model, alternator make and frame, panel functions and the enclosure build form side by side, and check that the radiator suits your ambient temperature. Two machines can carry the same kVA figure and still differ in every one of those items.
What are the MOQ, lead time and payment terms?
These depend on the rating, quantity, destination and payment method and are set out in the quotation. Send the quantity and the port and we will quote on that basis.
